:: El Futuro (Belgium) stands for FUTURISTIC MUSIC ::

El Futuro started back in 1997 with Frederic Versluys (the host & producer of Inner Journey techno radioshow) founding Josh as to be the perfect 1st resident of his radioshow. Being a house and tech house DJ, Josh brought a warm touch which resulted in a fine lifetime-collaboration.

Followed on the good feedback and popularity Frederic asked Josh to produce and host his own house radioshow and a few Months later “EL FUTURO, The Future Sound Of The Radio” was announced in July 1998. A program concentrating to promote loungy house, progressive, deep to warm tech house. Unfortunately all electronic music radioshows disappeared from the air due to a take-over of a commercial radio-transmitter.

Loyal listener and fan of the show, Pascal Maenhout, known as organiser and as "the always smiling-friendly artist-companion for Kozzmozz", reached out to Josh to continue the El Futuro radioshow as a party concept.
From 1999 on, events were organised in Fuse (Brussels), Culture Club - Decadance - Club Unit - Celtic bar (Ghent), La Rocca (Lier) and in Club N9 - JH De Lochtink - Patjelli (Eeklo).

The El Futuro Radioshow came back on air since December 2006 and were broadcasted every first Sunday of the Month on Rotationz (National Radio-Top Radio). A year later the show moved to a weekly spot on Saturday and rescheduled again in 2009 towards a bi-Monthly spot.

A new chapter start in May 2007 with adding the EL FUTURO RECORDINGS musiclabel.

names that will appear on the label are Josh Lasden, Synoptic, Nathan Coles (UK), Nils Hess (UK), Wings of Sound, Bellaert, The Mystic Force and more established names will follow next to fresh upcoming talents
After 1 year the El Futuro Recordings label reached the honourable 10th place of the NIGHTCODE MAGAZINE READERS POLL 2008 (nr1 magazine Belgium) and the El Futuro events were voted on the 7th place.

El Futuro always stayed fresh and is therefore a warm house breeze u can't resist!
